A well-known expert in gardening, Jeanette played a vital role in creating the heirloom gardens at Alden House. Her passion for plants—from herbs and flowers to heirloom vegetables—transformed the museum’s landscape into a place of beauty and learning. Jeanette generously shared her deep knowledge, time, and love of gardening, ensuring the museum’s gardens flourished. Whether mentoring high school interns, National Honor Society students, or volunteers from the local bank, she inspired, trained, and worked alongside everyone with kindness and dedication.
