Heart of the Pines Chorus Heart of the Pines Chorus About Heart of the Pines Chorusis an extraordinary group of women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop music. We are a chapter of Sweet Adelines International. Our Director Kay Awtrey is a charter member of Heart of the Pines Chorus having joined July 2011. She has been assistant director for two years and became the director of the chorus in April 2023.
