NYSAWG promotes a food system that is environmentally sound and economically viable for farmers and consumers and is socially just for all. In furtherance of the foregoing the organization shall: a. Conduct public education efforts for all food system stakeholders. b. Conduct research and development efforts for sustainable community development. c. Conduct public participation efforts that encourage all people to become active stewards of sustainable food systems, and d. Promote social programs that support the overall development of sustainable communities.
