Community Help in Park Slope, Inc. (CHiPS), is a soup kitchen & a shelter for pregnant & postpartum young women & their babies, serving Brooklyn since 1971. COMMUNITY HELP IN PARK SLOPE, INC. ("CHIPS") IS A NONSECTARIAN, VOLUNTARY, COMMUNITY-BASED NEW YORK NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION CHARTERED IN 1977. ITS MISSION IS TWOFOLD: TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TEMPORARY HOUSING TO NEW AND EXPECTANT MOTHERS, AND TO FEED THOSE IN NEED THROUGH THEIR FOOD PANTRY AND SOUP KITCHEN.
