The Electrification Coalition advances the deployment of electric vehicles to reduce the economic, public health & national security threats of oil dependence. The Electrification Coalition (EC) is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit group committed to promoting policies and actions that facilitate the deployment of plug-in electric vehicles (EVs) on a mass scale in order to combat the economic, environmental and national security dangers caused by America’s dependence on oil. Coalition supporters represent the entire electrified transportation value chain, positioning the organization as a dedicated rallying point for an array of electrification allies.

Department of Transportation announced nearly 5 billion in grant funding for various transportation initiatives including 636 million of funding for 49 electric vehicle EV charging infrastructure projects in Round 2 of the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure CFI Discretionary Grant Program.
