The Beth Sholom Synagogue Preservation Foundation, a non-sectarian, not-for-profit (501(c)3) organization, was created to preserve Beth Sholom Synagogue. THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO SOLICIT AND OBTAIN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE FUNDS FOR THE CONSERVATION, RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT SYNAGOGUE STRUCTURE OWNED BY BETH SHOLOM CONGREGATION AND DESIGNATED AS A NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK (THE "BETH SHOLOM SYNAGOGUE"). ADDITIONALLY, THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE INCLUDES THE PROMOTION OF THE CULTURAL TOURISM, PUBLIC AWARENESS AND EDUCATION CONCERNING THE BETH SHOLOM SYNAGOGUE AND ACTIVELY CONDUCTS TOURS OF THE FACILITY AND MAKES RELATED RETAIL SALES.
