Welcome Welcome to MARS Rescue We unofficially began in 2004but it was only after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 thatwedecided to form a501c3. We sent a van there to rescue dogs and the experience changed us forever and we realized a passion and love that turned our committment to rescuing dogs into a formal federally recognized nonprofit organization.
