Welcome Welcome to MARS Rescue We unofficially began in 2004but it was only after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 thatwedecided to form a501c3. We sent a van there to rescue dogs and the experience changed us forever and we realized a passion and love that turned our committment to rescuing dogs into a formal federally recognized nonprofit organization. We received our 501c3 status in 2007 and are dedicated to our mission. Visit our partner Purina ProPlans Rally to Rescue Helping Pets in Need .
