The organization operates exclusively for the benefit of and to carry out the purposes of Jackson Memorial Foundation, Inc. a code section 509 (a) (l) - 170 (b) (l) (A) (vi) organization and Jackson Memorial Hospital a Code Section 170 (b) (1) (A) (iii) organization by operating non-clinical programs on behalf of Jackson Momorial Hospital, the only public hospital in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
