MA commission on service & volunteerism. We administer the #AmeriCorps State and #CommonwealthCorps programs, and provide trainings to nonprofits. MSA strengthens your community through service & volunteerism. The Massachusetts Service Alliance, a private, nonprofit organization that serves as the state commission on community service, is responsible for investing state and federal funds in community-based organizations across the Commonwealth; convening various public and private entities to link strategies related to community service; building capacity of nonprofit organizations by providing training and technical assistance; and advocating for the development and promotion of policies and initiatives that incorporate service and volunteerism as effective strategies to address community challenges.
