The South Asian Student Association (SASA) and parent volunteers partnered with the DEI team and FLIK to celebrate Eid al-Fitr on the Hilltop this Wednesday. Students and employees enjoyed a wonderful assortment of delicious foods, including chicken kebabs with turmeric rice, chicken samosas and vegetable shingara, and delicious traditional desserts of kalojam and jilapi, courtesy of our generous families. In the Grille Room, Middle and Upper School students received temporary henna tattoos and festive gift bags while learning more about the holiday. Meanwhile, the Lower School lobby has been beautifully decorated in honor of Arab American Heritage Month and Poetry Month.
