Seven journalists are headed to science writing graduate programs as 2025-26 Taylor/Blakeslee Fellows! Each will receive $6,000 to support their studies, thanks to the Brinson Foundation. They are: Bridget Balch, Alonso Daboub, Rachel Duckett, Ashley D'Souza, Ana Georgescu, Stella Mayerhoff, and Alex Megerle. “As a Latino, I’m especially aware of the urgent need for high-quality, informed science reporting that not only reaches, but meaningfully supports, marginalized communities," Daboub says. "CASW’s support is a crucial step in helping me contribute to this mission in both English and Spanish.” Congratulations to them all! (fb)
