Don't blink, or you might miss it! We're counting down to the fastest event in Plattsburgh - and a family favorite holiday tradition at the hospital. The annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by The Foundation of CVPH on our front lawn, is set for Saturday, April 19 at 10 am, sharp! In the span of about two minutes, children will race to scoop up 10,000 brightly colored eggs filled with candy donated by Adirondack Chocolates. Some eggs will also include a coupon for a free kid's meal at Texas Roadhouse. The egg hunt is free and open to children ages ten and younger, with a separate hunting ground for children 3 and under, as well as a quiet hunting space for those who need it. Hunters should be dressed according to weather conditions. The event is BYOB (bring your own basket), and kids will get a chance to say hello and pose for pictures with the guest of honor: the Easter Bunny. We hope to see you there! (fb)

⏳ Want an easy way to get some time back in your life? Come join us for our Walk With a Doc series this Wednesday, April 9 from 1-2 pm at the YMCA at the Oval! Research has shown that you can gain two hours of life back for each hour of regular exercise. Walking is low impact and easier on the joints than running. It is safe – with a doctor’s okay – for people with orthopedic ailments, heart conditions, and those who are more than 20% overweight. Walk With a Doc is a FREE walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic with Ismat Huq, MD, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. It’s a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking. Walk your own pace and distance. (fb)
