Ambassadors of The Light Resource Agency
We are the only referral agency in Grand Rapids that is geared specifically towards helping & assistng the homless & poor to improve their quality of life, and help them to get access to the things they need for daily life. We are different from United Way in that whereas United Way is geared towards famiies & children, we are geared specifically towards the homless & poor individuals & couples. 95% of our clients are single men, single women (some pregnant), married couples (without kids). They are either homeless, on the streets, in door ways, under bridges, at the missions, in shelters, at freinds apts., or poor and live in rooms for rent, subidized/government apts., or similair living situations. We help them by providing them with free referral services for their basic needs and for the issues they have that are afffecting their life. By doing so we help them to improve their quality of life, and we show them that someone does care.
