To provide financial support to the City of Grand Rapids Police Canine Unit by establishing an entity charged with the responsibility to provide for:1. the raising of necessary capital and funding; and2. the obtaining of the necessary endowment;to provide for the purchase of Police Service Dogs, provide care and medicine for retired Police Service Dogs; provide funding for Police Service Dog training related needs, and provide funding for Police Service Dog operational related needs.
