Saturday marked the successful completion of this year’s Signature Project at Bendix Woods County Park as part of our partnership with St. Joseph County Parks (IN). We were proud to support and help fund the grand opening of the new pond exhibit at the Nature Center, and it was a joy to see the project come to life. Throughout the year, we enjoyed volunteering across a variety of shifts and events at the park. From tapping trees and making maple syrup during the sugaring season, to welcoming guests at the Pet Halloween Hayride, and assisting with crafts, concessions, and nature learning stations at the Halloween-themed event, each experience was both meaningful and memorable. We not only contributed our time, but also learned so much from the dedicated park staff and truly appreciated the opportunity to spend time in such a beautiful and inspiring environment. (fb)
