Educate Uganda was founded in order to support orphaned children in Uganda, Africa by providing them with the opportunity to attend primary school. Since 2007, we have partnered with 28 primary schools in Uganda. Our mission is to help the children receive an education and to improve the learning environments at our partner schools. We have worked towards this goal by providing classrooms, water tanks, latrines, teacher housing and dormitories at several of our partner schools.In 2014 a secondary school sponsorship was introduced. Each year we strive to send at least 20 of our highest performing primary students to secondary school. To date we have 284 students participating in this sponsorship program.
