The Historic 1929 Ritz Theatre Plans are underway to restore Corpus Christis historical landmark The Ritz Theatre. Built in 1929 the Ritz was the first talking movie theater in the area and was considered one of the finest theatres in Texas. In the 1970s it was best known as The Ritz Music Hall home to many artists from Willie Nelson Bob Dylan and Stevie Ray Vaughan to Metallica and Def Leppard. ITS HAPPENING.
