Conference on Consumer Finance Law

The Conference on Consumer Finance Law (CCFL) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1926 (or 1927 depending on the source) by members of the legal profession and the financial services industry. It aims to promote educational services, publications, and research related to consumer financial services law.

CCFL was established to support the development and study of consumer finance law. Its activities include organizing panel discussions and seminars on consumer finance law developments. Notably, it sponsors the Frederick G. Fisher Jr. Memorial Lecture, which serves as a platform for debate among industry representatives, consumer advocates, and government officials on topical consumer finance issues.

Publications

CCFL publishes the Consumer Finance Law Quarterly Report, a law journal that provides in-depth analysis of legislation, regulations, court decisions, and other legal developments in the consumer financial services industry.
