Making Headway Home Pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors are currently the leading cause of death among all childhood cancers. Over 2500 children are diagnosed every year seven every day. My husband and I are so grateful for Making Headways guidance and help working our way through the school system. We appreciate you being there for us and your expertise in always finding the right school for our daughter.

Making Headway's investment have led to another published research paper published, this time in the March edition of Acta Neuropathologica. Title: "Metabolic profiling of adult and pediatric gliomas reveals enriched glucose availability in pediatric gliomas and increased fatty acid oxidation in adult gliomas. Earlier this month, Making Headway Foundation treated 17 of our families to a special performance of the Gazillion Bubble Show in NYC. It was an amazing show and all our families had a wonderful time. As a special bonus, all our kids got to go on stage with the star of the show (and Guinness world record holder) Fan Yang.
