It's happening! The Maine Trails Program (MTP), funded by the Maine Trails Bond that was overwhelming approved by voters last November, is now accepting applications for $7.5 million in grant funding to support trails projects across the state. Whether you're building, expanding, or maintaining trails for outdoor recreation or transportation, this is a great opportunity to secure funding. The program supports motorized, nonmotorized, and multi-use trails across Maine that will connect communities, boost local economies, and enhance outdoor recreation for all. Want to learn more? Join a virtual workshop on April 10th or 11th to get more details about how to apply. Their in-person workshops are coming soon!
