State College Jazz Festival

JazzPA's vision is to be a leading jazz presentation and education organization, serving residents of Central Pennsylvania.  JazzPA works to preserve and advance the diverse legacies and traditions of jazz by presenting, fostering, sponsoring and promoting high quality live jazz for the benefit and enrichment of the local community, the region and the State of Pennsylvania.  JazzPA:  utilizes local, regional, national and world renowned performing artists and composers; strives to instill enthusiasm among local and regional audiences and develop an appreciation for jazz as a living art form; provides jazz education opportunities and performance experience to students and professional musicians guided by jazz masters; and generally advances the art form of jazz.  JazzPA presents jazz year-round in concert, cabaret, festival and scholastic settings, makes jazz music emotionally and financially accessible and provides opportunities for artist and community interaction.
