Yellow Lady's Slippers are starting to bloom at the Wild Gardens of Acadia! Supervisory Gardener Geneva Langley invited us back to see what she calls an "early season showstopper" amongst the 400+ plant species growing in the gardens.  Created in 1961 and maintained by dedicated volunteers, the Wild Gardens of Acadia is a partnership between Friends of Acadia and @acadianps. It offers park visitors an award-winning microcosm of Acadia’s uniquely varied plant communities in a serene brookside setting. The Wild Gardens of Acadia are open each morning until dusk. (fb)
