Therapeutic Horsemanship in New York City GallopNYC brings the proven benefits of therapeutic horsemanship to children and adults with disabilities in NYC. Therapeutic horseback riding provides measurable benefits for people with developmental, emotional, social, and physical challenges. Empowered by the collective support of our staff, volunteers, donors, and participants, GallopNYC provides therapeutic experiences with horses to facilitate personal development for New Yorkers with disabilities and others who benefit from our life-changing programs. We leverage the power of horses to support people in learning new life skills and to thrive within their communities and families. GallopNYC serves children with disabilities, veterans with PTSD, and retirees in our communities by providing hippotherapy, horseback riding lessons and non-mounted therapeutic engagement with horses.
