Another Wine on the Trail for the books! We had a bunch of first-timers join us this month, sprinkled in with some who have been coming since the beginning! The Ball Creek Preserve was indeed a sleeper preserve no one outside of staff had heard of - besides Preserve Steward Terry Horner, who was also able to join us. Although most in attendance didn’t know about this tiny preserve, everyone unanimously agreed that the beautiful creek access was the most surprising and rewarding. And the mere number of bird sightings there was surprising, too, with the Cedar Waxwing being the front runner for most impressive.
