A new eye implant, available at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, reduces the number of yearly eye injections for patients with wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD) and diabetic macular edema (DME). The FDA-approved #SUSVIMO implant is a refillable device that continuously delivers medication over 6 months. NYEE is the first center to offer this treatment in New York City.
