Experience the Profound Beauty of Duruflé’s "Requiem" Join the Assabet Valley Mastersingers on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 3:30 PM at Pilgrim Church in Southborough, MA for a powerful performance of Maurice Duruflé’s "Requiem"—a choral masterpiece of spiritual depth and timeless beauty. Rooted in the solemn melodies of Gregorian chant, Duruflé’s "Requiem" offers a contemplative and deeply human meditation on life, death, and eternal peace. Composed in memory of the composer’s father, the work moves gracefully between sorrow and serenity, fear and hope, culminating in a transcendent vision of paradise.
