Haynes Graduate Profile, are reinforced throughout Girls on the Run, an out of school time running program that has been helping girls in grades 3 – 5 navigate life experiences for the last decade. Their practices and weekly lessons, in partnership with the national Girls on the Run program, prepare students to engage in a 5k each year, celebrating their growth as they accomplish milestones and prepare for life. 7h grade English Language Arts students engaged in their 3rd annual visit from Atlanta-based author H.D. Hunter. Each student received a signed copy of the second book in his Futureland series, Futureland: The Nightmare Hour. 📚 Hunter shared that “Ms. Mercier’s classes have been welcoming me with excitement, curiosity, and thoughtfulness going on three years now.” Thank you to H.D.
