🐾 It’s Kitten Season at HART and we need your help! 🐾 With so many tiny paws to care for, we are asking for much needed kitten supplies! Kittens may be little, but costs for replacement milk, feeding bottles, medications, vaccinations, kitten food, and spay and neuter surgeries really add up. So far in 2025, 13 mama cats and 80 kittens have come through our doors—and we’re expecting many more. ☔️ That’s why we’re hosting a virtual Kitten Shower — and you’re invited! Your gift of supplies helps us provide the food, comfort, and enrichment these little ones need to thrive. Gentle, curious, silly, and mild-mannered, all that 5-year-old Soren really wants is a calm, adult-only home where he can lounge on the couch for most of the day, living his best life. That’s not a whole lot to ask, so we’ve been scratching our heads, wondering why no one has scooped up this great guy…and then it dawned on us: when people come in to visit, he just kinda sits there and stares at them, without offering up much about himself. Sure, he may engage with toys and treats, but his vibe is definitely more of the relax in the sun, settle into a cozy chair, watch a good movie kind. He appreciates affection and gentle pets, yet he has his limits and can get “nibble-y” when he has had enough. He loves other chill cats, so he’d be great with a friendly feline buddy or two. In short, Soren is the purrfect no-nonsense, confident, amiable kitty you’ve been looking for!❤️ We’re open for adoptions today from noon to 3 pm, and our Adoption Team is looking forward to introducing you to our cats, including Soren in Room 3.
