Newport County Radio Club
Newport County Radio Club is the largest Amateur Radio Club in the state of Rhode Island. Formed in 1945, the club supports many on-air and community events. Rhode Island's largest Amateur Radio club, Newport County Radio Club is active in many on-air events (Field Day, JOTA, IOTA, Winter Field Day, NPOTA, etc.) and regular hands-on activities. Providing education in general radio-based communications to the public, procurement, operation and maintenance of radio equipment capable of providing emergency communications for the benefit of our communities.
