The sap has been flowing wicked at Oak Hill Conservation Area these past few days! Ron Hewett manages a sugarbush at the Oak Hill CA. He said that in one day, the 275 gallon holding tank was filled to overflowing. Go check out the gravity fed sap collection system and hiking trails at Oak Hill: www.tklt.org/oak-hill-conservation-area (fb)

We're grateful to Eric Stinneford, an expert woodworker, for creating many of our trail directional signs and recently crafting our brochure rack. Eric, a KLT steward at Perkins Woods (with his wife Lynette), used lumber from our Curtis Conservation Area, along with wood generously donated by Brent Mace of Readmont Lumber. These beautiful additions are a wonderful enhancement to our office. We hope you'll stop by to pick up a property brochure. It's time to take a Spring hike! (fb)
