Today, through the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, this scholarship builds a network of professionals committed to equity in education. We also want to thank Charter Oak for hosting us in their new beautiful facilities! @charteroakstatecollege 💡 You too can create a lasting legacy. Exciting Day at Southington Animal Control Open House! Janis Jerman, our board Chair, had a wonderful time attending the open house for Southington Animal Control, a project proudly funded by the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain. The event was filled with adorable doggies, what could be better?! The new enclosures are state-of-the-art with tempered glass replacement doors, increasing safety for both the animals and the employees who handle them. The design keeps water and food bowls off the ground, improving cleanliness and reducing the risk of animals getting stuck, which also helps save on overtime costs. The kennels are monitored 24/7 with cameras, ensuring no animal is in harm's way. The rotating feeding dishes are locked into the doors, making feeding safer and more efficient. The quieter environment creates a calming atmosphere for the animals. We are so happy to have partnered with Friends of Southington Animal Control to help our furry friends! #CommunitySupport #AnimalControl #Southington #OpenHouse #CommunityFoundation #NewProjects (fb)
