Mission of Western Erie Canal Alliance (WECA), a not for profit organization, is to act as a conduit and partner to communities through Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Monroe and Wayne counties in New York State, in an effort to enhance quality of life, increase appreciation and conservation of unique cultural and recreational resources and promote economic growth within the context of historic preservation, education and strong public and private partnerships.
