There is a growing body of evidence that the act of cultivating plants, proximity to trees and plant life, and time spent in greenspaces aid in the treatment of mental illness, improve well-being, and reduce health inequalities. Our social service and public programs educate and inspire, growing a broad community that values horticulture for the many benefits it brings to our environment, our neighborhoods, and our lives.
