Dr. Nancy Mendenhall was recently honored for 40 years of service at the UF College of Medicine in the Radiation Oncology department, and she has been named Interim Co-Chair of the UF Radiation Oncology department alongside Dr. Kate Hitchcock. Through Dr. Mendenhall’s transformational leadership, she successfully brought proton therapy to the Southeastern United States. Because of her vision, over 12,000 patients have benefited from proton therapy at the University of Florida.
