TO PERPETUATE THE ANCIENT HAWAIIAN SPORT OF SURFING THROUGH INFORMATIVE AND COMPETITIVE HIGH SCHOOL TEAM SURF MEETS. THE COMPETITION WILL HELP PREPARE THE HAWAII TEAMS FOR FUTURE NATIONAL MEETS IN CALIFORNIA. IN ADDITION, HSPC PROVIDES SPEAKERS FOR VARIOUS HIGH SCHOOLS TO INFORM TEAM MEMBERS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES.
