The SCAA unites survivors, family and heroes and anyone who wants to advocate for SCA issues. Donate at https://t.co/LtYamDzsBK Combatting the Sudden Cardiac Arrest crisis by eliminating preventable deaths and supporting those who have been affected. Everyone will be touched and impacted by sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) at some point in their lives, as a victim or survivor, a family member, a first responder or a friend. An SCA is different from a heart attack and few know the difference. SCA has become the world’s leading public health crisis. As the nation’s largest non-profit focused exclusively on combating the sudden cardiac arrest crisis and eliminating preventable deaths by 2020, SCAA is passionate about saving and transforming lives by taking its longstanding commitment, outreach and prevention to the next level through education, advocacy and after-event support programs like COPE.
