When Scout was facing treatment for cancer, Queen Elsa from Disney's Frozen made her feel strong. During her hospital stays, nurses used a freezing spray to remove the dressing from her port — a process that wasn't always easy. But by calling it her "Elsa spray," her nurses helped make the process a little less scary. 💙 Her medical team soon introduced Scout to Make-A-Wish, and Scout knew she wanted to visit Walt Disney World to meet Elsa in person and tell her all about her Elsa spray. ❄️ “As a caregiver or parent, you’re walking through some of the darkest times of your life,” Scout's mom, Pam, said. “You’re watching your kid just lay there sick and helpless, and you’re trying to make this situation better. And then you have this wonderful [wish] that you are given … It’s just an instant morale booster. Make-A-Wish is just imperative for these kids.
