This AAPI Heritage Month, we're honored to highlight a key initiative made possible by a two-year grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative — aimed at increasing engagement with Asian populations affected by IgA Nephropathy (IgAN). Through this grant, the IgA Nephropathy Foundation is: Expanding outreach to Asian communities disproportionately impacted by IgAN Building partnerships with trusted, local community-based organizations to share culturally relevant education and resources Listening deeply through patient-led focus groups to better understand lived experiences Creating sustainable programs that reflect the needs, values, and voices of the AAPI community This work is part of our long-term commitment to equity in care, representation in research, and meaningful, community-driven change.
