THE DR. PHIL FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE GIFTS, GRANTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO SECTION 501(c)(3) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. THE FOUNDATION MAY, UNDER STRICT SCREENING GUIDELINES, PROVIDE GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS, BUT ONLY IF SUCH INDIVIDUALS CANNOT AFFORD ACCESS TO QUALITY CARE OR EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. THE PRIMARY EMPHASIS WILL BE ORGANIZATIONS THAT ADDRESS (i) YOUTH, (ii) PUBLIC HEALTH (PARTICULARLY ISSUES OF OBESITY), OR (iii) PARENTING, HUMAN BEHAVIOR AND INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS.
