Founded by Caitlin Crommett at the age of 12, DreamCatchers was inspired by her experiences volunteering at a hospice and was influenced by the movie "Patch Adams." The organization officially began as a club in Crommett's high school and expanded to other schools, partnering with local hospices to grant dreams for patients. Over time, DreamCatchers grew to include chapters across multiple states and has since expanded internationally to countries such as South Korea and Ghana.

Mission

The foundation's mission is to develop compassionate and entrepreneurial leaders by bridging the gap between generations through acts of service. This includes fulfilling the end-of-life wishes of hospice patients, which not only enriches the lives of both the youth and the patients but also provides valuable intergenerational connections.
