Kids Caring 4 Kids

Follow Message Edit

After viewing an Oprah Winfrey special in the winter of 2004, Kendall Ciesemier decided that she had to do something to help the 12 million AIDS orphans of Africa. She began by adopting a child through World Vision with her own annual contribution of $360. In June 2004, as Kendall faced an upcoming liver transplant, she organized her effort, "Kids Caring 4 Kids", asking friends and family to send donations instead of flowers or gifts. The funds we raise will go to support other charitable organizations and individuals which help those who have been impacted by the AIDS pandemic. The recipients will have an emphasis in Africa (where AIDS has hit the hardest) and to those who strive to help children.
