A Dream Realized! The establishment of the Young Leaders Academy is not just a dream; it is a powerful reality! This vision was ignited at the beginning of Ms. Tovar’s leadership journey at Namaste when a critical need was identified. This program is dedicated to empowering the next generation of changemakers, equipping them with the essential tools, skills, and experiences necessary for excelling in leadership from a young age. This year, we are focusing on young ladies in grades 5-8, and where they will participate in the Unstoppable Me Program. Our young ladies will engage in a 3-momth transformative journey in one-on-one coaching sessions with a youth coach, where they will learn vital skills in self-development, problem-solving, and resilience, enabling them to tackle Middle School with confidence while embracing their leadership potential. The purpose of the Young Leaders Academy is for participants to fully engage in various programs and phases over the years to master organization, strategic planning, and decision-making. We are committed to building their confidence so they can make a significant impact in their communities. By emphasizing community service and addressing real-world challenges, the academy is resolute in equipping these young leaders with the vision and drive required to effect positive change. We are preparing them for success, both personally and professionally, by instilling a strong sense of responsibility, collaboration, and innovation.
