Caregivers provide physical, social, and spiritual supports, and receive an education in vulnerability, belonging, and celebration that transforms a human service into a relationship based on trust, respect, and deep understanding. L’Arche changes the world by illuminating the beauty of each person—with or without a disability. Our mission is to create homes where the gifts of people with developmental disabilities are revealed through mutually transforming relationships; to embrace diverse cultures working together to build a more human society; and to respond to the changing needs of our members throughout a lifetime of adult care.
