Chocolate Church Arts Center
The Chocolate Church Arts Center (CCAC) was incorporated and received 501(3)(c) status in 1977, and has over the ensuing 37 years exercised its dual mission of presenting graphic, visual, and performing arts to midcoast Maine while preserving and protecting its home, the former Congregational Church built in 1847. Built on the premise that every community should have a place to revel in the arts, this magnificent building has become an annual home to musicians, actors, community arts productions and visual artists.

More from Bath

MMoME is a 501(c)3 non-profit that responds to stranded marine mammals and sea turtles from Kittery to Rockland, Maine, provides triage and rehabilitative care to pinnipeds, and conducts research and education to promote marine conservation.

SPI was founded in 1971, first, to save the Winter Street Church, long overlooking Bath's City Park, from scheduled demolition and, second, to support the preservation of Bath's distinctive architectural legacy increasingly threatened by loss.
