Improve and Enhance Educational Opportunities Established in 2005 the Affton Education Foundation was formed to raise funds for projects beyond the scope or capabilities of the district. Recognizing the national movement for excellence in education we join foundations in other progressive communities in establishing a channel for private funds to enrich public educations. After indepth discussions with teachers administrators the Board of Education and students the Affton Education Foundation established two early priorities Our goal is to preserve the high educational standards of the district by providing additional classroom resources and to inspire and enable students to attend their firstchoice colleges. STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS LOANS GIVEN TOTAL SCHOLARSHIP LOAN DOLLARS AWARDED TEACHERS GRANTS FOR CLASSROOM ENRICHMENT GIVEN TOTAL TEACHER GRANTS DOLLARS AWARDED The mission of the Affton Education Foundation is to improve and enhance educational opportunities and resources for all children enrolled in the Affton School District and for the teachers who support them.
