MLCI was founded in 1999 to address the environmental and economic impact that Maine's lakes have on our communities. We implement a strong experiential educational program around the state involving youth and adults in the protection and stewardship of lakes. Our program connects education, the environment, and the economy for the children, adults, and communities who participate in it.
