Newport Tree Conservancy-Home plant for the future The Newport Tree Conservancy is committed to supporting the health and resiliency of trees in Newport RI. We are connecting our community with their citywide arboretum and planting the next generation of Newports urban forest. We are educating and engaging the next generation of green professionals citizen foresters and conservationists. Tree Planting Programs To maintain a healthy public tree population in Newport we must plant roughly 120 new trees annually to replace those lost or removed each year due to damage decay or disease.
