About the organization

IN THIS SECTION MISSION STATEMENT The mission of The Johnson Center for Child Health and Development is to advance the understanding of childhood development through clinical care research community outreach and education. In 2004 a group of parents and professionals gathered to consider the growing needs of the developmental disorder community. Over time a multidisciplinary center called Thoughtful House was established to address the needs seen as the most pressing for those with developmental disorders appropriate healthcare diagnostic behavioral and education services community outreach and support and research. In 2011 the organization was renamed in honor of Betty Wold Johnson in recognition of her ongoing generous support of this community.
Autism Special Ed Institutions/ Schools for Visually or Hearing Impaired, Learning Disabled Autism
