Yesterday marked a major first for Café Photovoice as the exhibition ventured beyond the Bowen Center for its debut offsite showing. We were honored to be invited by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) to present our extraordinary photo exhibit at the Wellness Center Open House hosted at the Bronx Psychiatric Center. The event was beautifully organized and well attended, and the response to Café Photovoice was nothing short of remarkable. Visitors engaged deeply with the powerful stories and imagery, and our incredible artists were on hand to share their insights and connect with guests. We extend our heartfelt thanks to OMH for the invitation, to our inspiring artists for their presence and passion, and a very special thank you to Commissioner Ann Sullivan for visiting the exhibition and showing such genuine support.
