Big win for wildlife + driver safety in Virginia. 🚨 $450,000 in state funding for wildlife crossings made it into the final state budget. These funds will target crash hotspots identified in the Wildlife Corridor Action Plan and help unlock even more $$ for crossings in the future.

We’re feeling deeply grateful after an incredible week at the International Conference on Ecology and Transportation in Denver. Eight of us attended, connected with both new and old faces at our booth, and had impactful conversations that will guide our approach to the future of wildlife connectivity across North America. A heartfelt thank you to our partners and the ICOET community—we were honored to receive the Stewardship Award for Ron and Nikki’s work promoting the success of the red wolf crossings project on U.
